Libby's day began with her bridal preparations at the Chiswick home of her best friend and bridesmaid Marijn. It's a cottage they shared for years together, perfect for a besties' sleepover and leisurely, laughter-filled start to the wedding day.
After hair and make-up were done, Marjin and Libby's mum Sheila helped the bride into her cream silk and lace dress, then they hopped in a cab to Cambridge Cottage, Kew Gardens. Walking down the tulip-lined isle with her brother, Libby looked radiant. From first glance until the end of the day, Tim's face was a picture of pride.
The newlyweds were received after the ceremony with bubbles instead of confetti. Then, after a glass of fizz and a few formal portraits we hopped in a golf buggy in search of blossom for a quick portrait session.
First dance was to Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together (one of my faves), and then the guests all piled out for a bit of sparkler action. All in all a beautiful blossom-filled day, and double congratulations to Libby & Tim, who are soon to be three this autumn!
