Two Brides Newbury Wedding | Cloud + Claire
Cloud and Claire got in touch with me about their Newbury wedding but after a couple of emails everything went a bit quiet....
So after hearing nothing for a while I was well chuffed when Cloud popped up again two years later saying they had a new date and was I free. Woohoo!
I really loved their cheeky, friendly energy and I knew their wedding was going to be unique and a lot of fun.
The vibe they were going for was relaxed and fun, and as they were both massive country music fans they also wanted a boho, rustic feel. They were planning a pub wedding in the middle of Newbury, complete with hog roast, line dancing and an appearance by a friend’s Dolly Parton tribute act (a secret surprise cooked up by Cloud).
After getting ready separately at Newbury Racecourse, they had an emotional ceremony officiated by friends in the garden of the Old London Apprentice, a place very close to their hearts with lots of chosen family.
A BBQ wedding breakfast was followed by music, dancing, cake, karaoke - and wall to wall smiles.
A truly beautiful and joy-filled day, and proof that you don’t need to get married in a grand venue for your wedding to be epic and wonderful.
Are you planning a non-traditional wedding? I'd love to hear all about it.
