Barbican engagement photoshoot | Rebecca + Dominic

I did a little happy dance when Rebecca and Dom said they fancied doing their pre-wedding portraits at the Barbican Centre.

It's one of my absolute favourite places for portrait photography.

Not only an iconic London landmark, the Brutalist structure provides a playground of shapes, lines, shadows and patterns that are like catnip to a photographer (this one anyway).

We brought this engagement session forward due to their imminent new arrival so it's my first Barbican maternity session!

Like many couples, they chose to have an engagement session to have a bit of practice in front of the camera, and get over any nervousness before their wedding day.

They were absolute superstars and I'm beyond excited for their Rotherhithe wedding in August.
