Hackney micro wedding | Kelly + Adam

For their Hackney micro-wedding, Kelly and Adam wanted a casual and relaxed vibe. With both their mums flying in from New Zealand and their 1-year-old son among the VIPs, they wanted to prioritise time with the family, while also capturing Hackney's unique look and feel..

On another sweltering, mid-heatwave day, we met outside Hackney Town Hall, a place I’ve photographed many times. Kelly carried some spectacular flowers, the work of a Hackney florist, My Lady Garden

After a sweet, intimate ceremony, the family strolled together to Wilton Way Deli to top up on bubbly and pizza. Unfortunately, the cafe had scaffolding works so there were not too many photos ops here! The food looked scrummy though :-)

Then K&A and I wandered off towards London Fields to make portraits in the streets and railway arches, and the scorched grass of London Fields.

A whirlwind of a wedding and no less lovely for it. Big congrats to Kelly, Adam and their lovely little one, L.

We thought you did a fantastic job and are super happy with the finished product. Thank you so much Emma!
