Relaxed East London wedding | Jessica + George
Getting ready at 100 Shoreditch Hotel ✔️Ceremony at Clissold House ✔️ Private vows in the Rose & Crown pub ✔️ Routemaster bus ✔️Foliage-filled reception at The Hackney ✔️
Jess and George told me they were aiming for a relaxed East London wedding and the amazing thing is they managed to fill it with SO MUCH and keep their cool on a blazing hot July wedding day. There was a near disaster when a bridge closure delayed the Routemaster bus by so much that the bride, guests and I had to get taxis to the ceremony venue, arriving late.
Despite that hiccup, the vibe stayed happy and relaxed, exactly as they had envisaged. It was a beautiful day, brimful with love and warmth, friends, family and feels in a series of lush settings.
Big shout out to the amazing suppliers:
Jessica was utterly stunning in her Vivienne Westwood dress.
Sage Florists created gorgeous displays of Sunset oranges, offset by soft lilac and icy blue. Theme: sunset in an English country garden.
And Lily Vanilla’s cake was nothing short of a work of art.
