100 Barrington Wedding | Emma + Ed
Emma & Ed were going for a fun, relaxed, celebratory, colourful, big party and their 100 Barrington wedding was this to a T.
The former furniture factory was the perfect backdrop - a mix of industrial architecture styled with red leather Chesterfields, fairy lights, potted plants... and an incredible chandelier.
It's a super cool venue, and a great fit for this creative couple. An architect and an art historian, obsessed with design, places culture and nature - “All the good things.”
[We did their engagement session at the Barbican, making some fun and relaxed portraits amidst the Brutalist architecture - check it out here.]
On their wedding day, they'd decided to skip getting ready photos in favour of more party coverage (🕺🕺🕺) so I headed straight to 100 Barrington where Ed was greeting their guests.
Fairy lights, along with stunning floristry, set off the industrial canvas to create a beautifully warm backdrop to the ceremony.
The couple looked absolutely gorgeous; Emma in a flowing, open-backed Kate Beaumont dress and Ed in a brown Paul Smith suit.
A little bit of rain did nothing to dampen the celebratory vibes and they carried off a nifty umbrella handover for their confetti exit.
We had a fun portrait session in the venue and around the backstreets and railway arches before returning for speeches and the reception proper.
The food… They had a wedding pavlova, which was a work of art in itself.
Lovely couple; wonderful day - massive congrats, Emma & Ed!
